An exciting opportunity has arisen with a large global corporate for a Global Mobility Specialist. Initially this is a 12 month fixed term contract based in London and will go permanent thereafter.
Reporting directly into the Head of Global Mobility, this is an exciting and challenging opportunity to support the building of a Global Mobility function. With the foundations already in place this role will play a key part in supporting the transition of GM, that has sat traditionally within Global Regions, into a centre of excellence.
The role will initially be split across operational support (60%) and project management/policy development (40%) whilst supporting 250 employees on assignment. This will involve cost projections, developing packages, supporting HR, data integrity, implementing strong & robust processes and training.
Essentially this is almost a greenfield position that will require a tremendous amount of time developing best in class policies and procedures, giving you great exposure across the business as you build relationships with key stakeholders.
It requires someone who is ready for a challenge, is persuasive and confident, and possesses strong communication skills to work across EMEA, Asia and the America’s. In addition you will possess proven operational Global Mobility experience. Experience of tax calculation, expatriate tax issues and cost projections, and developing effective relationships with key stakeholders is essential. Excellent communication skills, experience of using expatriate management tools and project management skills are also required for this position.
Global Mobility experience gained within a consultancy/third party provider combined with in-house experience would be ideal.
