A renowned international Energy business is currently recruiting for a Global Mobility Team Lead to join their business. The role will be accountable for the Africa region managing the assignee population whilst leading a centralised team in London.
Managing a small team you will be involved in both an operational and strategic capacity with an active involvement in senior level case work. You will champion processes and ensure the function follows best practice throughout. You will take a proactive approach to succession planning and be fully aware of the project headcount and growth areas. Working with both the hiring managers and HR you will slicken up the process to improve both time to hire and the expatriate experience. You will work closely with the international operations sharing best practice and providing the business with up to date MI.
The suitable candidate will be degree qualified or equivalent with substantial Mobility experience. Prior experience within Energy would be highly desired however candidates from an engineering or business services background would also be considered. Previous experience of managing large scale assignee communities in Africa would be highly desirable. Up to date knowledge of both international tax and immigration would be expected along with first class stakeholder management skills. Additional languages would be beneficial but not essential. You will need to be happy with rolling up your sleeves and covering both operational and strategic Mobility. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing dynamic business.
