An established law firm are currently recruiting for an HR Manager to cover a maternity. The role will report into a Senior Partner and will be responsible for covering circa 200 staff including 20 partners across three UK locations.
You will be responsible for providing HR support across the business including two London offices and one in Birmingham. You will have line management responsibility for one HR Assistant who will assist in first line enquires and operational support. This is a hands on role where you will be expected to contribute and directly manage the whole HR spectrum including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, on boarding and training and development. This is primarily an operational role however you will be expected to contribute strategically and have the ability to work with partners.
The suitable candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with extensive HR generalist experience. Previous experience of working within a law firm or a partner led environment would be highly desirable. This role will be hands on and you will need a can do attitude, so strong operational experience is a must. You will have excellent written and oral skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of the business up to partner. Due to the nature of this role you will be in a position to take post by the end of July.
