VisitBritain and VisitEngland is looking for an HR Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity and based in central London. For the reasons detailed above you will be joining the organisation during a very exciting period and you will have exposure to both operational and strategic HR projects.
Reporting into the Head of HR you will manage the day-to-day HR operations to provide an efficient and proactive HR service with particular reference to pay and reward, employee relations, recruitment and conditions of service. Managing a small team the position has an HR generalist remit but you will also work on several critical projects while supporting management teams on all HR related issues.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, and CIPD qualified, you will possess significant generalist HR experience ideally within a medium sized global organisation. Your experience will include recruitment & selection techniques, HR practices and procedures, pay & reward, employee relations and the ability to interpret client needs while providing excellent customer service.
With previous experience of line management, you will be a team player, able to drive through change and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have plenty of initiative and drive.
Due to the nature of this role you will be available to take post in February 2012.
