This is a team lead role in a fast paced, high profile retail organisation, with responsibility for overseeing all recruitment processes and planning for current and future needs and effectively managing the entire recruitment cycle from attraction strategy to offer.
You will be responsible for the day to day operational management of five recruitment advisors who cover everything from senior level head office hires to retail staff. You will ensure the recruitment process is fit for purpose, working closely with the learning and development manager to develop appropriate methods of assessment. With visibility of the resourcing plans, you will drive communication across the wider team, troubleshooting and bringing greater focus and analysis to provide creative solutions.
You will have budgetary responsibility and will therefore provide rigorous management information on vacancies and recruitment activity including statistics on ratios, providing insight into efficiency and a chance to maximise impact of both spend and team. You will be a key contact for external providers including media partners, recruitment companies and applicant tracking systems providers. You will enjoy negotiating with external partners and the detail necessary to maintain consistent levels of service and effective management of spend.
You should have previous experience of working with both high volumes of roles and also senior niche recruitment, in a fast paced, ever changing environment (preferably Retail). You will have sound knowledge of developing attraction strategies which you are then able to implement effectively. You should have experience of leading a team of recruiters and driving performance and enjoy providing details analysis and statistical data to the leadership team. You should be a self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships and credibility in a retail environment.
