An internationally renowned mining company embarking on a high profile and new project are currently recruiting for a Training manager to join the organisation on a 12 month contract. The role will be based in Africa however will work on a 4 week on 2 week off shift pattern.
Reporting into the HR Manager you will establish a Training function within a greenfield environment. The role will involve developing a training and competency frame work, whilst working with technical/subject matter experts in designing specialist training programs. You will support and develop a Training Office whilst supporting the business on all training related queries.
Due to the nature of this role candidates must be fluent in both English and French and able to work to a shift pattern that will involve being based in Africa. Candidates can be based internationally as all travel will be expensed by the business. You will have been working within a truly international business with experience of managing client groups in Africa. Previous experience within any of the following industries would be desirable but not essential - Oil & Gas, Engineering and Mining.
