Upstream Recruiter (5 months on-going contract)

A fantastic, global oil & gas business is looking for an Upstream Recruiter to support their global upstream arm. This is a rolling contract based in the Southern Home Counties.

Sitting within the global upstream arm this position will focus on recruiting drillers, upstream engineers and project management professionals. You will be responsible for the recruitment strategies and recruitment campaigns for multiple business units as assigned by the Recruitment Leader, and you will serve as the primary contact for hiring managers and HR within multiple business units. Operationally you will completely manage the recruitment process including; assessing candidate applications, screening, interviewing, recommending finalists and offer management. For difficult positions you may well use agencies and you will be solely responsible for the selection and use of agencies as part of an overall staffing plan. You will represent the company at recruitment events and conferences and you will actively provide input on strategic resourcing initiatives and recruitment campaigns. Ad-hoc corporate functions recruitment may apply to this role.

To be considered for this vacancy is pivotal that you have upstream recruitment experience and have previously recruited drillers, upstream engineers and project management professionals. Experience of recruiting heavily in one of the above areas would be fine. You will have managed the recruitment process from end to end and will have strategic thinking. Advanced communication and inter-personal skills are a must for this position.
